Richardson Preserve

Acquired in 2015, the Richardson Preserve is owned and managed by the Flora Richardson Foundation. The Preserve contains several high quality plant communities and includes areas of dry-mesic forest, emergent wetlands, forested wetlands, wet-mesic forest and creekside seep areas. There are two main stream channels running through the property and a natural spring feeding a wetland in the northwestern part of the preserve. Over 240 vascular plant species have been reported from the site. The preserve is also home to many fungi and animals.
